July 10th marked the birth date of Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad.
Since the clock struck 00:00 today, thousands upon thousands of birthday messages were sent to Dr. Mahathir’s official account from all sorts of social media wishing him health and prosperity.
The Prime Minister then took to his Facebook to a post that thanked all well-wishers for their warm wishes and told the country that there is only one specific gift that he wished for on his special day.
“My birthday wish is very simple, that I can finish my work setting Malaysia on the road of recovery. It is a privilege and honour to serve this country”.
What a great man he is! Even on his special day, he still show his love and dedication towards this country.
Tun also brought his appreciation to his Instagram, uploaded with the same caption.
Dr. Mahathir became Malaysia’s first ever prime minister whom had led the country TWICE in Malaysian history upon Pakatan Harapan’s (PH) victory in the 14th general election last year.
Once again, we wish Tun a great 94th birthday and may you’re granted with all the blessings in the world.
