‘Bomoh’ is what Malaysians call the local witch doctors. Though not all are evil, they are usually not openly sought after by people.
It is due to many reasons but the simplest of all being the fact that it’s not in line with the major religious beliefs within the country.
Nevertheless, many people still consult bomohs for various reasons. Obviously, the more atrocious the intent, the more detrimental the consequences.
In the video, which was uploaded by Azmiera Azwar onto Twitter on October 24th, 2018, a bomoh can be seen chanting a sort of charm.
Meanwhile, two men’s voices can be heard speaking to each other.
The first guy said,
“Are you sure you want to do this? I don’t feel good about this…”
Just as the he said that, things became more intense. The surroundings started to eerily shake!
Just then, the bomoh asks the other guy his age and where his father is still alive.
The other guy replied,
“I’m 27. Yes, my father is still alive.”
The shaking intensified and the first friend stuttered,
“Le-let’s leave…”
The 34-second clip ends there but it has been watched roughly 28,500 times, and re-tweeted nearly 1,000 times as of press time.
Azmiera’s caption read,
“Look at the 28th second. It has been said before, things like this (black magic) shouldn’t be played with. This is shirk!”
Some netizens were shocked that people are still using black magic to harm others while some felt completely creeped out by it.
One person wrote,
“THIS IS ANOTHER LEVEL OF SYIRIK!!!! ALLAHUUUU!!!!”
