The 42-year-old Dublin born started his singing career with Boyzone which yielded their first number 1 single—a cover of the Bee Gee’s Words, followed by some of their most recognizable hits in the album “Where We Belong”, “No Matter What” and the mega hit “Picture Of You”, which won an Ivor Novello award for best songwriting for Keating.

It was only in the late 90’s—1999 to be exact—that the lead man started his solo career which struck gold with a cover of Alison Krauss’ “When You Say Nothing At All” from the Movie “Notting Hill”. His solo debut album sold an incredible 4.4 million copies worldwide.

With ten solo albums under his belt and his reunion with Boyzone in 2008, he continued on as a group and marked a continued success with familiar hits like “If Tomorrow Never Comes”, “I Hope You Dance”, “Father and Son” as well as “Life Is A Rollercoaster”.
