Royal baby no.3 is here just weeks before the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle!

Although he does not have a name yet, he is definitely looking super adorable.

According to E! Online, Kensington Palace made an official announcement that the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was in early labour with her third child.

He was born later in that morning and weighing 8 lbs and 7 oz (3.8kgs).

People got the first glimpse of the newborn prince as his parents, Prince William and Kate, cuddled him and took him outside for a photo session with the paparazzi at the iconic Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital.

After Kate gave birth to her baby boy, she still looked flawless in a fashionable red dress with a Peter Pan-collar. It is said that this fashion choice is to pay tribute to the late Princess Diana.

Princess Diana presented Prince Harry to the public 34 years ago in a similar red outfit featuring a white Peter Pan collar.

Prince William went home to bring Prince George and Princess Charlotte to the hospital to visit their new sibling. The cute kids even waved to the media as they walked into the hospital.

Earlier, George’s classmates and their parents were asked not to reveal the gender of the baby to him before Prince William could share the news to the little boy himself.

The elder children did not stay for a family photo as they had to return to Kensington Palace ahead of their parents.

But as Prince William left the hospital with a baby carrier in hand, he revealed to reporters that they were happy and excited with the newest addition to the family.

He jokingly said,

“It’s thrice the worry now.

“We didn’t keep you waiting too long this time!”

Under a new law in 2013, the little prince is the fifth in line to the throne following his grandfather Prince Charles, his father Prince William, his brother Prince George, and his sister Princess Charlotte.

The newborn is Queen Elizabeth II’s sixth great-grandchild too!

Although the Duke and Duchess has not announce the name of their third child, bookmakers believe some of the top names are Arthur, Albert, Frederick, James and Philip.

There are some funny events that happened at Lindo Wing too. Before Kate and Prince William’s little prince appeared at the iconic stairs, there were a few other newborns who shared the royal spotlight too.

There were two couples who stepped out at Lindo Wing and posed for photographs with the media. One pair smiled for the camera as they held their baby in a car seat on their way out.

Another couple cradled their newborn son in their arms who was adorning a blue sweater and oversized cap.

A huge congratulations once again to Prince William and Kate on their newborn prince! We can’t wait to find out the little boy’s name too.
