The Kensington Palace’s official Instagram account recently posted 3 photographs of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement.

The royal couple first got together in October, 2016. The rumours spread immediately and in November, Kensington Palace confirmed that they were dating.

The couple continued dating without much hitches up until November, 2017 when they announced their engagement. Check out some of their photos here:

It has also been confirmed that the royal couple will be getting married on May 19, 2018. It seems like after having dinner with Her Majesty Queen the Queen in October, 2017, Queen Elizabeth must have approved of Meghan and her relationship.

A statement by the royal palace said,

“Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel.

“The Royal Family will pay for the wedding.”

Meghan’s parents, Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland, are also super happy for the couple. In a statement through Clarence House, they said,

“We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person. To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents.

“We wish them a lifetime of happiness and are very excited for their future together.”
