Encounter’s final episode was probably the best way anyone could start 2019. Starring the gorgeous Song Hye Kyo and charming Park Bo Gum, the drama saw great ratings as viewers kept returning to the show every week.

The grand finale, aired on January 3rd, 2019, has been the talk of the town since thanks to the couple’s wistful kiss scene.

Returning to the cafe in Cuba where they first met, Cha Soo Hyun (played by Song Hye Kyo), finds the note left behind by Kim Jin Hyuk (played by Park Bo Gum).

The note reads,

“If I had been able to see you again, I wanted to ask if you have a boyfriend.”

The man gives her a back hug after she discovers the cute note. The adorable reunion has got fans of the show swooning at how flawless Jin Hyuk looked and how elegant Soo Hyun was throughout.

Of course, the best part is how he gives her a meaningful look before slowly leaning in for a kiss. It starts out with an innocent peck on the lips.

But the couple stare at each other for a moment before going in for a deeper, more passionate make-out session. For about one minute and thirty seconds, they lock lips in such passionate manner and the drama ends in that note.

Needless to say, fans can’t get over how amazing they looked and are still going crazy about the ending.
