BTS will officially become the first Korean artist to take the stage at the United Nations General Assembly.

According to Yonhap News, BTS will participate in the Generation Unlimited event of UNICEF which is scheduled to be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York on September 24th.

Generation Unlimited is a type of partnership program created to expand investment and opportunities for teenagers and young adults.

BTS is expected to take the stage in front of numerous world leaders and personalities, including North Korean first lady Kim Jung Sook and United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres, who will be gathering at the headquarters for the 73rd United Nations General Meeting.

BTS is expected to be making a 3-minute long speech in front of the entire audience. It is not clear yet if the speech will be done in their native language, Korean, or in English.

Well, we all know it’ll just be RM talking if it’s in English…
