A video clip of an altercation between a pickup truck driver and a sedan owner in Petaling Jaya over the weekend has gone viral on social media.

It is understood that the aggressive 4×4 vehicle driver has been tracked down and arrested over the incident.

The five-minute long footage – which has garnered nearly 1.3 million views so far – was captured by a dashcam and uploaded to the Facebook page of the sedan owner.

The incident occurred on July 26 at Sri Damansara Industrial Park, and is a chilling example of extreme road rage.

The video begins with the pickup truck cruising in the left lane, as the sedan pulls ahead in the right lane.

As the car rounds a bend, it honks at the pickup truck to keep its distance.

The sedan drives ahead, but the black 4×4 vehicle driver eventually catches up with and overtakes the sedan, before slamming its brakes numerous times to prevent the car from moving forward.

The sedan driver manages to move away from the truck after shifting to the left lane.

But the altercation is not over.

Without warning, the truck swerves and crashes into the sedan on the right side, drawing a gasp from a female passenger in the car.

Both cars pull over to the side of the road and two men exit their vehicles and confront each other.

The verbal clash is inaudible for the most part, save from hurls of profanity.

Still fuming, the truck driver returns to his vehicle and suddenly backs into the sedan, crashing into its front bumper.

Its driver moves his vehicle forward again and reverses for a second time – and the woman in the car can be heard bursting into tears with the second crash.

The 4×4 then drives off into the night.

According to a local daily, the police tracked down the road bully and arrested him shortly after the incident.

In the comments section of the video, netizens have expressed split opinions over the incident.

Some say the sedan driver had it coming, as he should not have honked at the truck driver.

Others rebuked the truck driver for being a road bully and insisted that his actions should be punished by the law.
